In the basement of a house in Independence, MO sits the home of Adam Bartling’s Razortone Recording Co. Adam recently moved to Independence, a small suburb of Kansas City, and has set up shop in the basement of his new home. Decked out from floor to ceiling with audio cables and soundproofing, Adam’s recording space is the ideal incubator for any undiscovered artist who is ready to quit using GarageBand in their closet and take things to the next level by releasing a professionally mastered EP. Apart from recording local musicians, Adam recently started a new podcast that features interviews with local craft beer enthusiasts, 3rd-wave coffee shop baristas, and recording artists.
